Construction project EUROCONTROL

EUROCONTROL, a leading authority within the European aviation community for the training of air traffic controllers, has placed its full confidence in MS CORP, which is honored to contribute to this major project by overseeing the scheduling, operational coordination, and overall delivery framework as part of an Ordonnancement, Pilotage et Coordination (OPC) assignment.

This landmark project involves the development of EUROCONTROL’s new training center, spanning 8,200 sqm and incorporating the most advanced air traffic control technologies. The design is structured around two distinct buildings, connected by a central covered street conceived as a key organizing axis, optimizing circulation, interfaces, and user experience.

The architecture has been designed by the internationally renowned Renzo Piano Building Workshop, under the creative vision of Renzo Piano, giving the complex a strong and distinctive architectural identity.

The project also reflects a highly ambitious environmental approach, based on responsible construction choices, combining timber and steel superstructures, and integrating technical solutions aimed at significantly reducing the carbon footprint of both the construction phase and the building itself.

Designed as both a welcoming and calming environment, the training center addresses the demands of a profession widely recognized as highly stressful, by providing a setting that fosters concentration, well-being, and performance.

Construction is scheduled to run from November 2026 to December 2028, with an estimated duration of 26 months and a construction budget of €37 million (excl. VAT).
